TRIGGER FISH ATTACKS DIVERS <br />WITH VID<br />BY SALONI MATHUR<br />Watch this thrilling video of a triggerfish attacking a group of divers. <br />Luca Botha, a diving instructor from the Maldives, was swimming off the coast when they encountered this little fish. <br />The triggerfish can be seen with its fin up, trying to actively bite one of the divers. <br />The diver kept backing away from the fish to create a distance between the two. <br />Luca said: “The triggerfish attacked us because we had accidentally swam over its nest. <br />“It first attacked my friend, that’s when I started to record, then it started to chase me, and I swam away. <br />“With a triggerfish attack, always swim downwards to get away, not upwards, as it will bite you from behind.”<br />ENDs
