Electrical workers have been threatening to take industrial action at BHP sites across the Pilbara, claimed there were wildly different pay levels for exactly the same job. It would have been the first strike at a Pilbara mine operator in decades, with the resources sector having condemned any action as destructive and the Opposition blamed federal Labor's industrial relations laws.
