These are the adverts that appeared during Episode 3 of the rarely repeated thriller Brond from May 27th 1987. The only famous faces are Glynn Edwards (Minder) and a pre-fame Philip Franks before he wooed Catherine Zeta Jones in The Darling Buds of May, though Joanna Lumley can be heard voicing a Palm Olive advert. There are two ad breaks and the commercials that appeared are as follows: <br />1st break: Mobil 1 petrol oil; Doltons Weekly newspaper (Buying your own home); Penguin biscuits (now 7 in a packet); British Gas (early payments scheme); Kellogg's Bran Flakes (Philip Franks & Glynn Edwards - Canooists in danger); and Pure White Palmolive soap.<br />2nd break: Jeans (Music eras); Electricity ad; Petit Danone yoghurt (kid with broken toy robot); Holsten Export lagar (scrap man), and AA Insurance.<br /><br />And for those curious about the thriller Brond, episode 3 where I got these adverts from can be found on Youtube posted by member VHS Video Vault here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hClFMhmZDVI. It features John Hannah's debut screen appearance and is somewhat strange as a thriller, but very rare so I suppose it's something somebody posted it online!
