A record $3.3B profit was recorded by the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago for 2025, and both the UNC government and Opposition PNM are claiming credit.<br /><br />Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar during today’s sitting of parliament said the significant profit is due to the change in management and vision for the sector brought by having new people at the helm.<br /><br />But the opposition says the profit is due to the last PNM government’s restructuring of Atlantic LNG.<br /><br />Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh tells us more. <br />
