Northern Queensland is in for a soaking as the remnants of ex-tropical cyclone Maila bring a surge of tropical moisture. Western Australia will also see unsettled conditions with a trough along the west coast triggering showers and storms, particularly from the Pilbara down to the lower west. Elsewhere, much of the country will enjoy settled weather.
