California Attorney General Rob Bonta accused Amazon of pressuring major brands including Levi Strauss and Hanes to raise prices on rival marketplaces in a price-fixing scheme. Newly unsealed documents show Amazon shared lower-priced listings from Walmart and Target and pushed vendors to increase those prices. Hanes confirmed it contacted Target and Walmart to raise prices. Amazon disputed the claims and said it will respond in court.
