Thousands came out for the annual Point Fortin Borough Day Military Parade today.<br /><br />It’s one of the Borough corporation’s main events for its month-long celebration, children came out in large numbers to witness the parade and see first-hand the various arms of law enforcement, service vehicles and animals.<br /><br />In attendance was the Mayor of Point Fortin and the area’s Member of Parliament, who in the lead up to the celebrations were at odds over the hosting of separate events.<br /><br />Reporter Cindy Raghubar Teekersingh tells us more. <br />
