The Kamiya family's cat, Miko, finds the eighth child's Digivice under Kari's bed and carries it all over town. That night, after detecting the presence of an unidentified Digimon in Tokyo Bay, Izzy goes there to investigate. While Kabuterimon battles Raremon, Izzy and DemiDevimon both chase a signal from the eighth Digivice, still being carried by Miko before a crow carries it away.
