GOLF BALL SIZED HAILSTONES BATTER SPRINGFIELD NEIGHBOURHOOD DURING SEVERE STORM<br />WITH VID<br />BY TIM TONG<br />Huge hailstones pounded a residential neighbourhood in Springfield, Missouri, as a severe storm swept through the area.<br />James Kratzer, from Springfield, Missouri filmed the footage from his front porch showing large chunks of hail crashing down onto the garden, driveway and road, quickly covering the ground in a layer of ice.<br />The storm can be seen lashing a nearby home and parked car, while trees and plants are battered by heavy rain and strong winds.<br />At one point, the camera pans across the street where the road and grass have been turned white by the relentless hail.<br />ENDS
