Senators Janelle John-Bates and Faris Al Rawi have been referred to the Privileges Committee of Parliament.<br /><br />This action was still taken despite Senator John-Bates apologizing to the Senate at the start of Friday's meeting and informing the upper house that she had offered her resignation to the PNM's Political Leader.<br /><br />It all concerns their conduct in the vetting of a witness statement from former Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh to the Public Administration and Appropriations Committee. <br /><br />Rynessa Cutting reports.<br />
