BASEBALL-SIZED HAIL FALLS IN THE BACKYARD<br />WITH VID<br />BY SALONI MATHUR<br />Watch this video of huge hail raining down on a house’s backyard. <br />Caitlin Watson, a waitress from Springfield, Missouri, was at home when suddenly she heard thunder and saw huge hail falling from the sky. <br />It was a very powerful hail storm that hit the Springfield area, damaging thousands of homes, cars, businesses and more.<br />Caitlin was afraid it would damage her backyard and belongings too, but luckily she did not suffer any loss. <br />There was an emergency alert issued warning of “baseball-size hail.”<br />The warning stated: “Take shelter in a sturdy building, away from windows. People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.”<br />The video was posted online where locals quickly commented: "So many vehicles got damaged from this today."<br />ENDs
