MOUNTAIN BIKER NARROWLY ESCAPES DISASTER ON ICY SLOPE<br />WITH VID<br />BY JAIANSH SHARMA<br />Check out this heart-stopping moment a mountain biker loses control on a steep, snow-covered ridge high in the mountains of Armenia.<br />Gergely Boda, from Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, captured the terrifying first-person footage while riding at what he claims was 3,000 meters in the Caucasus.<br />The video shows the rider suddenly losing traction on a narrow icy slope, sending both rider and bike sliding rapidly down the mountain face.<br />As the descent accelerates, the biker desperately digs his hands into the snow in an attempt to slow the fall and avoid a far steeper drop below.<br />After several tense moments, the rider manages to stop just in time before recovering the bike and carefully making his way back to safety.<br />Despite the near-disaster, the biker remained remarkably calm throughout the ordeal and was left unhurt. <br />Gergely said: “Up here, there’s no room for mistakes.
