Your favorite AT Specialist: Cory from Vision Forward, is here today with more tips you can use to get the most out of your Assistive Technology! <br /><br />Be My Eyes officially launched just over a decade ago as a simple way to connect those with Low Vision or Blindness to volunteers eager to offer a little assistance throughout their day. The system is predicated on video call technology which has grown ubiquitous thanks to modern smart phones. Today that service has grown to include millions of volunteers and countless thankful users. <br /><br />While we are using the Meta Glasses for this demo, know that you don't need a pair of smart glasses like the Meta to enjoy Be My Eyes. In fact today we are discussing something that everyone can use. Groups! Groups are essentially a list of specific trusted volunteers that you can reach out to whenever you need help with something a little more sensitive or specific. The regular volunteers at Be My Eyes are typically very kind, but certain times you may prefer to get help from someone you are more familiar with.
