MOTHER CROCODILE GUARDS NEST AS WILDEBEEST STAMPEDE <br /><br />WITH VID<br /><br />By Bautista Gonzalez<br /><br />Watch as a protective mother crocodile defends her nest while wildebeest charge past during migration season in Tanzania.<br /><br />Amos Kimaro captured the dramatic wildlife moment in the Northern Serengeti, Africa.<br /><br />The video shows several wildebeest scrambling down a muddy riverbank as they move through the migration route. <br /><br />Lying directly beside the path, a female crocodile remains positioned over her nest to shield her eggs from being crushed.<br /><br />As the animals leap and stumble nearby, the crocodile holds her ground despite the chaos around her.<br /><br />The clip was shared on Instagram where one user commented: "Great capture of this very impressive behaviour. Amazing"<br /><br />Amos said: "A female lay above her nest to protect eggs from being stumped by Gnu migrations (the great wildebeest migration)."<br /><br />END
