NEW JERSEY STORM SENDS ROOF DEBRIS INTO POWER LINES<br />WITH VID<br />BY JAIANSH SHARMA<br />Check out this dramatic moment powerful storm winds rip part of a roof from a building and send it crashing into nearby power lines.<br />Geoff Glandt, from Fair Haven, New Jersey, USA, captured the intense scene near the Long Branch Skatepark in Long Branch, New Jersey on 20th May.<br />The video shows strong winds tearing debris, believed to be roofing or siding, from a nearby apartment building before launching it through the air.<br />As the camera follows the flying debris, the object collides with overhead power lines beside a neighbouring apartment complex.<br />The impact triggers a sudden explosion of bright sparks and electrical arcing, briefly lighting up the stormy sky.<br />Witnesses can be heard reacting in shock as the dramatic collision unfolds within seconds during the severe weather conditions.<br />Viewers were stunned by the footage in the comments.<br />One wrote: “That was wild, what perfect timing.”<br />ENDS
