CYCLIST BRAKES JUST IN TIME AS DEER LEAPS ACROSS PATH<br /><br />WITH VID<br /><br />By Tom Sell<br /><br />Watch as a cyclist narrowly avoids a devastating collision after a deer suddenly bursts out of bushes directly into his path.<br /><br />Chris Hill captured the close call while cycling with London Dynamo in Richmond Park, London, UK.<br /><br />The video shows the peaceful ride through the park before a deer suddenly bolts from the roadside without warning. Travelling at high speed, the animal races directly across the cyclist’s path, appearing on a collision course.<br /><br />Hill slams on the brakes at the last possible moment as the deer passes just inches in front of his face. <br /><br />The terrifying near miss left the cyclist stunned, admitting he felt lucky to escape without serious injury.<br /><br />Despite regularly cycling through Richmond Park, Hill said he had never experienced anything so close or dangerous before.<br /><br />The clip was shared on Instagram where one user commented: "Luckily you were recording cause I’m not sure anyone would have believed you."<br /><br />Another added: "Probably shouting “cycle in single file” at you."<br /><br />ENDSU
