With day one of the maxi strike causing an increased demand on the bus services provided by the Public Transport Service Corporation, additional transportation was provided by the Police Service.<br /><br />The top cop told the media this was done following a risk assessment of having hundreds of commuters stranded at City Gate at night.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.<br />
