This was one of the hardest places I’ve ever visited.<br /><br />In this video, I visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia — a former high school that was turned into one of the most notorious prisons in modern history during the Khmer Rouge regime.<br /><br />Between 1975 and 1979, an estimated 14,000–17,000 people were brought here. Only 12 survived.<br /><br />This isn’t a sightseeing video. It’s a quiet, personal walk through a place that shows the true scale of what happened in Cambodia — the interrogations, torture, forced confessions, and the unimaginable loss of life.<br /><br />I wanted to visit S-21 not as a tourist, but to understand, to remember, and to share why this history matters — especially in a country that continues to move forward with such resilience and kindness.<br /><br />⚠️ This video discusses genocide, imprisonment, and violence.
