RARE OPTICAL ILLUSION CREATES ‘DOUBLE SUNSET’ OVER VIRGINIA<br />WITH VID<br />BY JAIANSH SHARMA<br />Check out this incredible moment an unusual atmospheric effect makes it appear as though there are two suns setting over the mountains of Virginia, USA.<br />Cale Nester, from Colorado Springs, captured the breathtaking scene while visiting Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.<br />The video begins with a close-up of a lichen-covered rock before panning out to reveal rolling green hills stretching beneath a dramatic cloud-filled sky.<br />High above the landscape, a striking optical illusion appears to split the setting sun into two glowing orange orbs, creating the appearance of a rare “double sunset.”<br />According to Cale, the smaller of the two glowing spots is the actual sun, while the larger one is caused by sunlight filtering through layers of clouds in the atmosphere.<br />Viewers were left puzzled by the phenomenon in the comments.<br />One wrote: “That's just China's homemade sun, forget bout it.”<br />Another added: “How is that possible.”<br />ENDS
