नीट परीक्षा से पहले केंद्र सरकार द्वारा मैसेजिंग प्लेटफॉर्म टेलीग्राम पर लगाए गए अस्थायी प्रतिबंध को दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने बरकरार रखा है। न्यायमूर्ति तेजस कारिया की पीठ ने टेलीग्राम की याचिका को खारिज करते हुए सरकार के फैसले को सही ठहराया। सुनवाई के दौरान केंद्र सरकार की ओर से सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने अदालत को बताया कि कैबिनेट सचिव की अध्यक्षता वाली समीक्षा समिति ने टेलीग्राम की दलीलों पर विचार करने के बाद प्रतिबंध को जारी रखने की सिफारिश की थी। वहीं, टेलीग्राम ने तर्क दिया कि नीट परीक्षा को आधार बनाकर पूरे प्लेटफॉर्म पर रोक लगाना उचित नहीं है और इससे लाखों वैध उपयोगकर्ता प्रभावित होते हैं। अदालत ने भी इस दौरान अधिकारों और सार्वजनिक हित के बीच संतुलन पर सवाल उठाए। सरकार ने टेलीग्राम की गोपनीयता नीति और उसके दुरुपयोग की आशंकाओं का हवाला देते हुए प्रतिबंध को आवश्यक बताया। अंततः हाई कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार के निर्णय को बरकरार रखते हुए याचिका खारिज कर दी। <br /> <br />The Delhi High Court has upheld the temporary ban imposed by the Central Government on the messaging platform Telegram ahead of the NEET examination.
