US envoy in Israel to push for peace ahead of UN General Ass

US envoy George Mitchell says he hopes to secure an agreement with Israeli and Palestinian leaders on a settlement freeze and a revival of peace talks over the next few days on a visit to the region ahead of the UN General Assembly.
