Earlier this afternoon, I had the pleasure to interview Jay-Z’s tour DJ, Neil Armstrong. In this interview Neil explains how he got into DJing, how his mixtapes got him a spot in with the Roc Boys. He also talks about picking up signals from Jay when on stage. I ask Neil whether he wants more a role during the performance and finally the DJ tells me about the mixes he has done for Jay’s live show including “No Sleep Till Brooklyn” at All Points West.
