The protesters who camped overnight at Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila clarify that they are not members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC). In an interview with The Manila Times, Alan Tabanggay, councilor of Bilaran, Nasugbu, Batangas, and one of the organizers of the movement, said they were not affiliated with the INC but also supported calls transparency and accountability. He also said that the protest was not aimed at pressuring the Ombudsman to drop the case being prepared against Sen. Rodante Marcoleta who is facing plunder charges.
