TOURIST IGNORES SAFETY WARNINGS TO SWIM TO FLOATING ICEBERG<br /><br />WITH VID<br /><br />BY LAKSHYARTHA SHARMA<br /><br />Watch this clip where a man takes a dangerous dip in Iceland’s famous Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, swimming through the icy waters before climbing onto a small floating iceberg despite safety rules at the site prohibiting it.<br /><br />Corneliu Valentin Ionescu from Reykjavik, Iceland, recorded the moment while visiting Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where a man was seen entering the freezing waters and making his way onto a floating chunk of ice. <br /><br />Shortly after, lagoon staff approached him on a boat and instructed him to leave the iceberg and return safely to shore.<br /><br />One commenter explained that more than 90% of an iceberg is submerged underwater and that they can shift, break apart, or tip without warning, making such actions extremely risky.<br /><br />Another viewer joked about the man’s decision, writing that he “must have thought he was so cool… then he jumped.”<br /><br />ENDS
