A Mig-35 and SU-35 are featured. <br /><br />Headline: First day of MAKS 2009 <br />Location: Zhukovsky, Moscow region, Russia <br />Dates Shot: August 18, 2009 <br />Duration: 11:58 <br /><br />Intro <br /><br />The MAKS airshow is a bi-annual international airshow showcasing Russian civilian and military aviation as well as overseas producers involved in the aircraft business. <br /><br />It is held in Zhukosky, just outside the Russian capital, Moscow. <br /><br />The show first took place in 1992, and started mainly as an entertainment event, but has quickly grown to a marketplace both for Russian and international companies. <br /><br />Airshows are usually put on by the world’s leading aerobatics groups. <br /><br />This year 700 different Russian and international airplane and parts manufacturers are displaying their latest products.
