Macy's Philadelphia Store continues the Christmas tradition started by The John Wanamaker's Dept Store back in 1956 and has continued to entertain Christmas shoppers for generations. <br /><br />Once narrated by legendary Philadelphia newscaster and the "voice" of NFL Films, John Facenda, in recent years, the program has been narrated by Academy Award-winning actress, Julie Andrews.
