National Security received the third largest chunk of the national budget of seven point three billion dollars.<br /><br />According to Finance Minister Dave Tancoo the monies will be centered among other things in assisting the police to fight crime with more digital tools, an upgrade to the perimeter of the Golden Grove Prison and the transition to an electronic passport issuing control system.<br /><br />Mark Bassant has this report.<br />
