Now this is something you don't see everyday – the world’s tallest and shortest men meeting for the first time. Well in Turkey, that just happened at a rather interesting event. <br /><br />The world's tallest man, Sultan Kosen, met with the world's shortest, He Pingping in Istanbul on Thursday. They promoted the launch of the Guinness World Records Live Roadshow.<br /><br />[He Pingping, World’s Shortest Man]: (Male, Mandarin)<br />"I am really happy because I met with him. I was looking forward to this moment."<br /><br />Pingping stands 2.4 feet, while Kosen is a staggering 8.1 feet. <br /><br />Kosen said that he already calls the rest of world as short. But Pinping made quite an impression on Kosen and joked about his height. <br /><br />[Sultan Kosen, World’s Tallest Man]: (Male, Turkish)<br />"I was having a hard time noticing him." <br /><br />Kosen was proclaimed as the world’s tallest man by Guinness World Records last September. He Pinging from China was also proclaimed as the world’s shortest man.
