Shen Yun Performing Arts finished a four-show run at the Place des Arts in Montreal over the weekend. Members of Montreal’s arts community praised the show.<br /><br />Ballerina IsaBelle Paquette is a soloist for Les Grand Ballets Canadiens de Montreal. She says her dance experience helps her understand what Shen Yun’s dancers go through to put on such a show.<br /><br />[IsaBelle Paquette, Ballerina]: <br />“A lot a lot of hours of work, I imagine they work really hard constantly—I know this through experience because I dance, it requires an enormous amount of effort and work and above all patience.”<br /><br />For Ms. Paquette, the dancers’ expressions are what made the show memorable.<br /><br />[Isabelle Paquette, Ballerina]: <br />“A lot of colors, a lot of life, a lot of smiles.
