He was the runner-up of the second season of Kokhav Nolad ("A Star is Born") in 2004.<br /><br />In December 2009, the Israel Broadcasting Authority selected Skaat to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.<br /><br />The songs are:<br />"Le'An" (Where to? / Away) by Sahar Hagay and Eyal Shahar,<br />"Millim" (Words) by Noam Horav and Tomer Hadadi,<br />"Ela'yich" (To You) by Noam Horav and Ohad Chitman, and<br />"Le'hitkarev" (To get closer) by Sahar Hagay and Nitzan Keikov.
