<p> <br /> Sandra Bullock's husband Jesse James has broken his silence over the reports he had an affair.<br /> </p><br /> <p> <br /> In a statement the 41-year-old said: "The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment."<br /> </p><br /> <p> <br /> The motorbike enthusiast and reality star is taking responsibility for the scandal and apologised to the actress and his three children.<br /> </p><br /> <p> <br /> "There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me." he said. "It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way."<br /> </p><br /> <p> <br /> He added: "This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me."<br /> </p><br /> <p> <br /> Less than two weeks after Sandra picked up a best actress honour for her movie The Blind Side, US magazine In Touch published a story with a woman claiming to have had a relationship with Jesse.<br /> </p><br /> <p> <br /> The 45-year-old rom-com favourite subsequently pulled out of her British premiere for The Blind Side, citing "unforseen personal reasons".<br /> </p>
