<p><br /> Leicester Square was transformed into a scene from Ancient Greece for the world premiere of Clash of the Titans.<br /> </p><p><br /> Ruined columns, Medussa stricken stone soldiers and pyrotechnics created a scene worthy of the 3D remake of the classic original.<br /> </p><p><br /> Sam Worthington, who plays demi-god Perseus, braved the rain with his beautiful female co-stars Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos, and fellow sword wielders Mads Mikkelson and Nicholas Hoult.<br /> </p><p><br /> Worthington has become known as a blockbuster favourite with his last three major films Terminator Salvation, Avatar and now Clash of the Titans.<br /> </p><p><br /> The movie was not originally intended to be released in 3D but with the success of films like Avatar the studio thought it was a perfect movie to be developed into a 3D blockbuster.<br /> </p>
