<p><br /> From action comedy to a Shakespeare adaption, Scottish film star Gerard Butler has revealed his excitement at upcoming film, Coriolanus.<br /> </p><p><br /> "It's a brilliant adaption," the 300 star said.<br /> </p><p><br /> The screenplay was written by John Logan who wrote Aviator and Gladiator, and marks the directorial debut of Oscar nominee Ralph Fiennes.<br /> </p><p><br /> Butler, 40, said: "Ralph Fiennes who is the nicest guy and a genius, and so passioante about this project and he's directing it.<br /> </p><p><br /> "He's also playing Coriolanus so for me it's jumping in and playing his arch enemy Tullus Aufidius, he now addresses me as his Tullus Aufidius."<br /> </p><p><br /> Shooting has only just begun on the tragedy which is expected to open next year.<br /> </p>
