<p><br /> A second comedy couple has called time on their relationship.<br /> </p><p><br /> Just hours after the announcement that British comics Lenny Henry and Dawn French have decided to separate, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy have also confirmed that they have split up.<br /> </p><p><br /> The US funnyman announced the news on Twitter, telling followers: "Jenny and I have just ended our five-year relationship, I'm grateful for the many blessings we've shared and I wish her the very best! S'okay!"<br /> </p><p><br /> The actress and comedienne echoed his sentiments. In a statement she said: "I will continue to be in his daughter's life and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart."<br /> </p><p><br /> The 37-year-old has a son, Evan, from a previous relationship, while Jim has a 22-year-old daughter named Jane.<br /> </p>
