<p><br /> Gordon Brown has answered questions from members of the public at a special People's Prime Minister's Questions.<br /> </p><p><br /> Scores of Twitter users took part in the event, which was organised by the Labour Party, while other submitted their questions by email.<br /> </p><p><br /> Gordon Brown answered some of the queries during a special live webcast.<br /> </p><p><br /> Many of those who took part wanted more information about the Government's Digital Economy Bill - controversial because of proposals to cut off the internet accounts of people found to be illegally sharing files.<br /> </p><p><br /> All the party leaders have been keen to engage social networkers in the run up to the vote on May 6.<br /> </p><p><br /> The interest follows the success with which President Obama used both Facebook and Twitter when he was running for the White House in 2008.<br /> </p>
