<p><br /> Hugh Jackman has made an Australian girls dream come true.<br /> </p><p><br /> The all-singing-all-dancing actor took 17-year-old Charisse Mitchell as his date to the opening night of new Broadway musical, The Addams Family.<br /> </p><p><br /> Charisse made the wish through the Make-a-Wish Foundation which is a charity that grants wishes to sick children around the world.<br /> </p><p><br /> Speaking on the red carpet the teenager said: "It is unbelievable. I never thought it would come true but it finally happened."<br /> </p><p><br /> To which Jackman added: "(It is) my wish too, let me be honest. I heard from Charisse and she wanted to come and meet me. I said, how about a date and going to a Broadway opening?"<br /> </p><p><br /> The Addams Family stars two-time Tony Award winners Nathan Lane as Gomez Addams and Bebe Neuwirth as his wife Morticia Addams.<br /> </p><p><br /> The musical features an original story about Gomez and Morticia's daughter Wednesday, dubbed 'every parents worst nightmare' who suddenly becomes a young woman and falls in love with a young man from a respectable family.<br /> </p><p><br /> Talking about the musical Jackan said: "It is an interesting thing about human nature how we really love a family like this. We want them all to be happy, even though they're happy when they're not."<br /> </p>
