<p><br /> David Baddiel has taken comedy to the next level with new film The Infidel. It is the first feature written by British comedian which stars Omid Djalil and directed by Josh Appignanesi.<br /> </p><p><br /> Baddiel's debut screenplay is about a man brought up Muslim who finds himself having an identity crisis when he finds he was adopted as a child and born a Jew.<br /> </p><p><br /> The laugh-a-long movie aims to make light of a normally taboo subject.<br /> </p><p><br /> Baddiel said: "It's about a muslim who discovers that he was born a Jew, played by Omid Djalil. It's funny, it's a funny comedy."<br /> </p>
