This program prepares you for a career as a mental health professional, working with emotionally and behaviourally troubled children, adolescents and their families.<br /><br />Learn principles and theories relating to human behaviour, factors affecting emotional growth and development, as well as practical skills in communication, treatment, teamwork and dealing with people.<br /><br />Faculty work closely with you to support skills development and growth. You will benefit from supervised field placements in a variety of clinical settings structured to meet your needs and interests.<br /><br />Textbooks and other related materials cost about $600 a year. Placements may involve additional transportation costs. There will also be a course materials fee each semester to cover handouts and in-class supplies.
