<p><br /> Lady Gaga has been named one of the top 100 most influential people in the world in Time Magazine's annual list.<br /> </p><p><br /> Each entrant was given a written endorsement in the US magazine, with Cyndi Lauper saying of Gaga: "Her art captures the period we're in right now."<br /> </p><p><br /> Ricky Gervais also appeared in the list after presenting this year's Golden Globes ceremony.<br /> </p><p><br /> Simon Cowell was credited with making "an indelible impression on global pop culture"<br /> </p><p><br /> Singer Taylor Swift, Elton John, actor Ashton Kutcher and designer Marc Jacobs were also named alongside Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.<br /> </p><p><br /> Twilight actor Robert Pattinson appeared in the list, as did Ben Stiller. Stiller was described by Robert De Niro as a "deeply comic spirit and a deeply kind spirit".<br /> </p>
