<p><br /> A week on from being cleared of rape charges, Jack Tweed has spoken out admitting to letting down his late wife Jade Goody and vowing to tame his partying ways.<br /> </p><p><br /> In an interview with the Sunday Mirror, the 22-year-old also says he wants to stand by the promise he made to Jade and play a part in her children's lives.<br /> </p><p><br /> Bobby, six and Freddy, five live with their father Jeff Brazier, who has reportedly banned Jack from seeing them since he went off the rails after her death.<br /> </p><p><br /> In the interview with the Sunday paper, Jack says that Jeff did "absolutely the right thing" as he "was in a mess," but said he now wants to prove he can be there for the boys as he "loves them to bits."<br /> </p><p><br /> "I know I've messed up and I'm sorry. I'm the first to admit I'm immature but I'll prove I can be there for Bobby and Freddy."<br /> </p><p><br /> Jack was cleared of rape last week after the jury reached a verdict of not guilty in under half an hour.<br /> </p><p><br /> Jack told the Sunday Mirror that when the jury went out to make their verdict he "went to the toilet and prayed to Jade" and said: "'You know I didn't do it but I'm so sorry. I've been an idiot and I let you down'."<br /> </p><p><br /> Jack married Jade Goody in February 2009 but she lost her battle against cervical cancer a month later.<br /> </p>
