<p><br /> The mother of a teenager who ran onto the field at a Philadelphia Phillies baseball game, where he was tasered, has apologised for her son's actions.<br /> </p><p><br /> Amy Ziegler told media that her 17-year-old son, Steve Consalvi, regretted running onto the field on Monday night.<br /> </p><p><br /> Consalvi hopped a fence and scurried around the outfield, eluding two security officers in the bottom of the eighth inning against the St. Louis Cardinals.<br /> </p><p><br /> One officer used a Taser and the Consalvi fell down in a heap.<br /> </p><p><br /> Consalvi is a high school senior from the suburb of Boyertown.<br /> </p><p><br /> Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey has concluded the officer acted within department guidelines, which allow officers to use tasers to arrest fleeing suspects.<br /> </p>
