<p><br /> Michael Douglas and director Oliver Stone have hit Cannes with their new film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.<br /> </p><p><br /> They waved at fans as they arrived on the famous Croisette for the much-hyped movie's photocall.<br /> </p><p><br /> Douglas won an Oscar for his role as unscrupulous corporate raider Gordon Gekko in the 1987 original.<br /> </p><p><br /> In this film, Stone turns his attentions to the big banks.<br /> </p><p><br /> According to Stone, in the real world Gekko's role was taken on by hedge fund managers and then by investment banks, something he opposes.<br /> </p><p><br /> They were joined on the red carpet by co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan, who have been dating since meeting on the set of the movie.<br /> </p>
