<p><br /> Former Health Secretary Andy Burnham will officially launch his Labour leadership campaign later in his constituency of Leigh.<br /> </p><p><br /> Mr Burnham is challenging David and Ed Miliband, Ed Balls, John McDonnell and Diane Abbott to be the successor of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown.<br /> </p><p><br /> Mr Burnham claims he is different from the other candidates, because of his northern working class background.<br /> </p><p><br /> He also says that, unlike his rivals, he never took sides in the ongoing dispute between Gordon Brown and Tony Blair.<br /> </p><p><br /> He claims that he wants to reconnect with Labour's core voter and bring back the principles of the party.<br /> </p>
