Facebook announce new privacy settings

<p><br /> Facebook has announced it will make it easier to change privacy settings but the default will still promote data sharing.<br /> </p><p><br /> Founder and Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg said his company would make more effort to guard the privacy of its users.<br /> </p><p><br /> The site is going to make it easier for people to change their privacy settings but Facebook still want users to obtain information about each other.<br /> </p><p><br /> "User use the service because they love sharing information," Zuckerberg said. "People perceive that as we don't care about privacy, but that's absolutely not true... There is a balance."<br /> </p><p><br /> Among the changes that the social networking site will introduce is blocking all third-party applications providers from accessing their information.<br /> </p><p><br /> It will also make less information available in its user directory.<br /> </p>
