Remains of body in river to be identified

<p><br /> Police are expected to identify a woman whose remains were found in a river as detectives continue to question a 40-year-old man on suspicion of murdering three prostitutes.<br /> </p><p><br /> The man was arrested on suspicion of the murders of missing Bradford sex workers Suzanne Blamires, Shelley Armitage and Susan Rushworth, West Yorkshire Police said.<br /> </p><p><br /> The remains of the woman were discovered by a member of the public in the River Aire, in Shipley, West Yorkshire, at about 2pm on Tuesday.<br /> </p><p><br /> A post mortem is scheduled to be carried out on the remains and the woman's identity released by West Yorkshire Police.<br /> </p><p><br /> Ms Blamires, 36, went missing on Friday, while Ms Armitage, 31, has been missing since Monday April 26. Ms Rushworth, 43, has been missing since Monday June 22 last year.<br /> </p><p><br /> Police have been granted extra time, until Thursday evening, to question the 40-year-old man, who was arrested on Monday.<br /> </p>
