NEW YORK — Police say a 17-year-old Long Island boy threatened to go on a shooting spree at his former school on the anniversary of the Columbine High massacre.<br /><br />Nathan Myres, of North Massapequa, was arraigned Saturday on a charge of making a terrorist threat.<br /><br />He had been a pupil at Plainedge High School until earlier this year, when he transferred to a special needs program.<br /><br />Nassau County police say they began investigating several days after a rumor began rippling through the school that an ex-pupil was planning an attack.<br /><br />Detective Lt. Kevin Smith said police havent found any weapons and it is possible the youth was just trying to scare people.<br /><br />Police said Myres doesnt live with his parents.
