<p><br /> Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf said he is missing his former co-star Megan Fox on the set of the third movie.<br /> </p><p><br /> Megan, 24, decided not to return to the franchise after apparently clashing with the movie's director Michael Bay.<br /> </p><p><br /> British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been brought in to replace Megan, as the leading lady.<br /> </p><p><br /> Speaking on the set of the third movie, Shia, who plays Sam Witwicky, said: "I love Megan and I miss the girl.<br /> </p><p><br /> "Sam and Mikaela became one character," he explained "and here (with the casting of Rosie) you have discovery again from a new perspective."<br /> </p><p><br /> Meanwhile, it seems Michael Bay may agree with some fans and critics who felt that the second Transformers movie - Revenge of the Fallen - was not as strong as the first.<br /> </p><p><br /> "I'll take some of the criticism," the director said. "It was very hard to put (the sequel) together that quickly after the writers' strike."<br /> </p><p><br /> Transformers 3 is expected to be released next summer.<br /> </p>
