<p><br /> A United Express plane with 36 people on board has skidded off the runway at Ottawa's Macdonald-Cartier International Airport, causing minor injuries to two crew members.<br /> </p><p><br /> An airport spokeswoman said that 33 passengers and three crew were arriving aboard Flight 8050 from Washington DC when the plane skidded off the end of the runway.<br /> </p><p><br /> The plane was sitting off to the side at the end of the runway while investigators examined it.<br /> </p><p><br /> Everyone aboard the Brazilian-built Embraer 145 was evacuated.<br /> </p><p><br /> Canada's Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause.<br /> </p><p><br /> "There is no speculation on what happened by anybody on anything," said Paul Benoit, from the Ottawa Airport Authority.<br /> </p><p><br /> United Express acts as a contracted feeder service for United Airlines' regional customers.<br /> </p>
