<p><br /> Dance group Diversity unveiled a permanent memorial plaque to Michael Jackson in the foyer of the Lyric Theatre in London's West End.<br /> </p><p><br /> Adrian Grant, Executive Director of the musical, met Michael Jackson over a twenty year period and has written many articles about the pop legend.<br /> </p><p><br /> In a speech before the unveiling, Grant said: "I found him to be very down to earth, funny and kind. Always laughing and joking around, but also curious.<br /> </p><p><br /> "He remained young at heart and was always looking to learn".<br /> </p><p><br /> Diversity were due to perform at Michael's This Is It concerts in London before the superstar died. They said they were very saddened by the news of his death.<br /> </p><p><br /> Perri Luc Kiely from the dance group was given the honour of unveiling the plaque.<br /> </p><p><br /> Michael Jackson had told Kenny Ortega that he planned to see the show whilst performing his 'This Is It' concerts, but Jacko sadly died on 25 June 2010.<br /> </p><p><br /> Adrian Grant said: "I so wish he had come to see the show, but more so I wish he was still here to entertain us all, and to raise his three beautiful children".<br /> </p>
