Four of the injured tourists are Britons<br /> </p><p><br /> The boats were ferrying tourists to Koh Pha Ngan on the way to a popular island beach party, police said.<br /> </p><p><br /> The 'full moon' party takes place on the island, 670 miles south of Bangkok, every month and attracts thousands of young, mostly Western tourists.<br /> </p><p><br /> The boats collided and overturned, throwing passengers into rough waters.<br /> </p><p><br /> Provincial police officer Adipong Tapee said of the 42 revellers injured, 39 were taken to hospital on the mainland in Surat Thani province.<br /> </p>
